HSA Workshop - What's Age Got to Do With It?

HSA Workshop - What's Age Got to Do With It?

Four generations are in the workforce together on a large scale for the first time in Canadian History. Working together cross-generationally can bring some challenges; however, there is also great opportunity to draw on each other’s unique strengths to create solidarity in the workforce. HSA is pleased to offer What’s Age Got to Do With It? This course aims to:

  • Identify and address ageism by building solidarity between generations.
  • Focus on maintaining dignity and respect when communicating with others.
  • Discuss how to avoid stereotyping.
  • Examine and understand intersectionality and how aspects of a person’s identity affect communication and relationships in the workplace.
  • Discuss how different generations respond to Health & Safety issues.
