Our help is needed. Period.

Periods are a fact of life. Monthly menstruation products are a necessity. And nobody should have to pick between feeding their family and being able to afford basic hygiene products. Yet far too many people – especially those living in poverty – simply can’t afford them.

We can be part of changing this story.

Between March 6 and 20, HSA is participating in the Tampon Tuesday campaign in the support of the United Way and local community organizations. We’ve also partnered directly to support our members working at Dixon Transition Society in Burnaby and Comox Valley Transition Society in Courtenay.

We’ll be participating in the Tampon Tuesday collection drive (fundraising and collecting tampons, pads and cups) to ensure the United Way can get products right to those who need them most. We’ll also be campaigning to raise awareness and end menstrual stigma.

To get involved or find out more information about the campaign please e-mail Jonny at @email or call the HSA office (604-517-0994 or 1-800-663-2017) and ask to speak to an organizer.
