UPDATE: Details of health science professionals' tentative agreement now available for members to review; ratification vote meetings planned

Details of the tentative agreement for health science professionals reached last week between the Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association and Health Employers Association of BC are now available for members review at the HSA website at www.hsabc.org.

A link to the downloadable report will be emailed to members. Members who do not have an email address registered with HSA will receive a hard copy of the booklet by mail. Booklets will also be available through your stewards after February 15.

-This proposed contract addresses a number of issues that will make a tangible difference to the health science professionals who are members of the modern health care team delivering quality public health care and services to British Columbians.  Every single element in this proposed contract was hard fought for ... by your bargaining committee members who have been at it for almost a year; and by you, the members, HSA President Reid Johnson said.

-The Board of Directors unanimously supports the terms and conditions of the tentative agreement and urges HSA members to vote yes," he said.

Ratification meetings will be held throughout the province in the coming weeks. Watch your HSA bulletin board, or the HSA website for details about voting at your worksite.
