McLeod elected to represent Region 8 members on HSA Board of Directors
HSA members have elected Heath McLeod to serve a two-year term on the union’s board of directors representing Region 8, which includes a number of worksites in Kelowna, Kamloops, and Thompson-Okanagan.
A diagnostic medical sonographer at Penticton Regional Hospital, he has been active as an HSA steward since 2010, including the past seven years as chief steward. He has represented members as a delegate to HSA Conventions and Regional Meetings and recently participated as a delegate to the HSPBA bargaining proposals conference.
McLeod will join the Board of Directors on adjournment of the 2022 HSA annual convention Saturday, April 30. Voting was conducted online between March 12 and 27, 2022.
