b) is offered by labour organizations with which HSA is affiliated ; or
c) is offered by political parties that meet all 4 of HSAs criteria, by demonstrating support for:
i) a positive role for the public sector;
ii) the principles of the Canada Health Act;
iii) free collective bargaining for public sector employees; and
iv) progressive occupational health and safety legislation.

HSA members who plan to run for elected office, or want to help elect representatives who will support public health care and community social services, are encouraged to take advantage of these training opportunities.    Forms to apply for Political Action Fund support to attend such training can be downloaded from the HSA website.   Contact Carol Riviere at the HSA office for more information about eligible courses and support to attend them (@email).
