BC Federation of Labour Young Workers' School at Camp Jubilee June 14-16, 2019

Are you a young worker 30 years and younger who wants to get more involved in your union, the labour movement, and the social justice work unions are involved in?
 
Registration for the BC Federation of Labour’s Annual Young Workers’ School opens May 1.

The weekend school is held at Camp Jubilee in Indian Arm in the Lower Mainland June 14 to 16. Participants will attend courses to help them build skills related to the labour movement, political and community organizing, and leadership skills. In addition to coursework, attendees will be able to participate in a variety of outdoor activities and connect with other young workers from around the province. Participants:
The school is open to young workers 30 and under. Participants must be affiliates of the BC Federation of Labour or invited guests through our sponsorship program. If you know a non-unionized worker or member of a community group who would benefit from attending the Young Workers' School, please contact Denise at @email.
 
Fees:
The registration fee is $375. This includes bus transportation from Londsdale Quay, boat transport to Camp Jubilee, meals, courses, activities and accommodation. The registration fee does not include transportation to Londsdale Quay in North Vancouver.
 
Registration will open on Wednesday, May 1st and will close on May 31st.
 
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE – MAY 6 DEADLINE
HSA will support up to five HSA members to participate by covering registration and travel costs, and wage replacement for any missed shifts.
