Allied Health Provincial Consultation Survey

Members,

The Ministry of Health has launched an Allied Health Provincial Consultation. As part of this consultation, the Ministry has developed an online survey to collect information from Health Science Professionals in seven focus areas: identity and recognition, workforce and practice optimization, leadership, education and training, recruitment, retention, and partnerships and collaboration.

I strongly encourage you to take the time to fill out the survey. Our collective voice is important, and your front-line experiences and insights are critical to shaping future policies and investments.

Many of our member professions are facing severe recruitment and retention challenges, limited training opportunities, unmanageable workloads which leads to deteriorating patient care, lack of growth and leadership prospects, among other issues. This is one venue through which we can continue to highlight and educate the government on the workplace challenges facing our sector.

The Allied Health Provincial Consultation Survey is openfrom June 22nd to July 13th.

You can find the survey at: https://surveymoh.health.gov.bc.ca/public/survey/allied-health-provincial-consultation?destination=/home

Thank you in advance for participating in this consultation.

If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the Allied Health Policy Secretariat at @email. Or you can always reach the union at @email

Sincerely,

Kane Tse
President
