Pilot Virtual OH&S Steward Training (2 days in series)
HSA Occupational Health and Safety stewards and HSA representatives on workplace joint health and safety committees support their colleagues at work as well as required by legislation at all worksites.  HSA is offering a Pilot Virtual 2-day series Basic OHS Training workshop run over two weeks. Participants attending must commit to both days in the series as follows:

Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training is for OHS Steward, Alternates and members of their Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee who have not previously attended Basic OHS training.  Workshop content includes: roles, rights and responsibilities of safety stewards and joint occupational health and safety representatives.  Participants will learn about the role of the Workers' Compensation Board, occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, incident investigations, worksite inspections and making recommendations.
