An HSA Political Action Workshop

HSA is offering a 1 day, non-partisan workshop for members who are interested in having conversations about topics of importance to HSA Members.  This workshop will give participants skills and strategies to speak to their co-workers, fellow union members, and the public about political issues important to them.
 
The workshop will focus on effective engagement through listening, how to discover the issues important to people, and how to craft compelling narratives linked to key election or political issues.  Participants will learn how to build narratives in recruiting volunteers around key issues. The workshop will be hands on and participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills with other participants
 
HSA is pleased to bring a guest facilitator from the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) to work alongside Jaime Matten, HSA’s Campaign Director and Strategist.
